How to Use the Deel MCP in Cursor
Stop mocking data. Use Cursor to generate code with live HR and payment information directly from your Deel account.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Deel MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Deel to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate Frontends with Live Deel Data
Tell Cursor's agent to build a component that shows your team. It will use `list_people` to get real names and roles from Deel, then generate the React or Vue code with that data already plugged in. You can get more specific. Ask it to generate a table of active contracts using `list_contracts`, complete with their status and compensation type. What you see in the editor is exactly what you'd get from the Deel API.
Automate Reporting with a Cursor Agent
Stop exporting CSVs. Instruct the agent to write a Python script that pulls all overdue invoices using `list_invoices`. The agent will call the tool, get the live data, and write the code to process it. You can do the same for expenses. Tell it to find all pending expense reports with `list_expenses` and format them into a JSON object for another service. This MCP Server makes writing financial glue code much faster.
Connect Your Code to Deel's API
When you're building a feature that needs to know a user's employment status, you don't have to guess the API response. Ask the agent to get a user's contract with `get_contract`. The agent will call the tool and inject the actual data structure into your code. It's useful for checking contract types, payment history via `get_person`, or milestone progress with `list_milestones` while you build.
