How to Use the DigitalChalk MCP in Windsurf
Windsurf executes LMS management tasks directly by connecting your agent to the DigitalChalk API for autonomous course and user oversight.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DigitalChalk MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect DigitalChalk to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Autonomous learner profile management
Cascade reads your codebase and triggers `get_user_learning_profile` to pull student progress without you typing a single command. It maps out enrollment gaps by comparing current status against course requirements. This agent identifies trends in real-time. It uses `list_user_enrollments` to see exactly where a student stalled, allowing the IDE to propose specific content adjustments immediately.
Direct catalog and assessment control
Windsurf queries your entire training library using `list_course_offerings` and `get_offering_details`. It parses course settings to help you verify that prerequisites are correctly assigned for every new cohort. Managing exams is no longer a manual chore. The agent invokes `list_assessment_exams` to verify that your testing structure matches the current curriculum requirements, keeping your data synchronized.
Automated performance tracking for Windsurf
Your agent tracks high-achieving students by chaining `list_high_performing_learners` with internal logic. It flags top performers for recognition while you stay focused on higher-level architecture. It handles completion verification by running `list_recent_course_completions` across your user base. The process is hands-off, providing you with a clean report of who finished what and when.
