How to Use the DottedSign MCP in Cline
Cline handles your DottedSign document lifecycle by writing code and executing tasks in your VS Code sidebar.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DottedSign MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect DottedSign to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end DottedSign task execution
Cline uses `create_task` to generate new signing requests and writes the necessary logic to integrate them into your codebase. It doesn't just suggest code; it performs the work. If you need to batch process files, the agent iterates through your directory and calls the API for each. It handles the heavy lifting of API communication so you don't have to write boilerplate.
Manage templates with Cline
Use `list_templates` to view your available options and `create_task_from_template` to spin up new documents. The agent maps your local data to the template fields automatically. This removes the manual work of form filling. Cline handles the payload construction and sends the request to the server with the correct parameters.
Monitor DottedSign webhooks in Cline
The MCP Server allows you to call `list_webhooks` to verify your notification setup. You can debug your integration loop without leaving the IDE. Cline checks the configuration and reports back on the status. It keeps your event listeners visible so you can catch issues before they impact your workflow.
