How to Use the Douyu MCP in Cursor
Inject live Douyu stream data and chat configurations directly into your Cursor codebase.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Douyu MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Douyu to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code generation with live API responses
The `get_room_detail` tool fetches live channel information directly into your Cursor agent. This means you write code using actual, real-time JSON payloads instead of relying on outdated API documentation. When building monitoring dashboards, your editor uses live viewer counts and stream titles. You avoid the typical trial-and-error cycle of writing mock data structures.
Automated audience analytics in Cursor
Run the `get_top_donators` tool to gather raw tipping data for your analysis scripts. If you need to build user profiles, `get_user_stats` pulls specific viewer telemetry for your database schemas. This MCP Server lets your agent inspect the virtual economy of any stream. You can write ingestion pipelines that map `get_gift_list` payloads straight to your database tables.
Live chat WebSocket integration
Use the `get_danmu_config` tool to retrieve the connection parameters for the Douyu WebSocket servers. This gives your agent the exact IP addresses and ports needed to construct a real-time bullet-chat parser. This MCP tool lets you write, test, and debug live chat listener code in Cursor. The agent uses the actual platform configs to ensure your WebSocket client connects on the first try.
