How to Use the DummyJSON MCP in Windsurf
Use the DummyJSON MCP Server in Windsurf to let Cascade build and test data-driven features without manual API mocking.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect DummyJSON MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect DummyJSON to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Windsurf agent automates data workflows
Cascade reads your requirements and maps them to the right tools. It chains `list_products` and `add_cart` to simulate user behavior in your local environment. You don't need to write boilerplate fetch code. The agent handles the tool calls and parses the response directly into your codebase.
Manage stateful sessions with MCP Server
Use `auth_login` to establish a session for your agent. Once authenticated, your AI client can manage user-specific resources like `get_user_carts` or `get_user_todos`. The server maintains the context required for complex interactions. You simply define the goal and watch the agent navigate the API endpoints.
Simulate product lifecycle in real-time
Test your frontend logic by triggering `add_product` or `update_product` calls. These simulated actions reflect immediately in the data returned by `search_products`. It removes the need for a persistent backend during early development. You get a reliable data source that behaves like a production API.
