Connect Dynatrace (APM and Observability) MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Dynatrace (APM and Observability) to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct metric injection into code
Stop guessing why your service is slow. Use `query_metrics` to pull actual performance data into your context window while you write your implementation. The AI sees the same latency spikes you do. It suggests code changes based on real production telemetry instead of abstract assumptions.
Incident-aware coding sessions
Run `list_problems` to identify why your service is currently failing. The agent analyzes the `get_problem` details to propose fixes that address the specific error codes. It’s like having a senior SRE pair-programming with you. You get the fix right the first time because the AI has the full picture of the environment.
Managed entity discovery
Use `list_entities` to map out your architecture before you commit new changes. You’ll know exactly which services you’re touching and how they relate to the rest of the stack. This prevents accidental impact on downstream dependencies. You see the entity types and relationships clearly defined in your editor's sidebar.
