Connect Edamam MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Edamam to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live nutrition data into your Cursor project
The `analyze_nutrition` tool converts unstructured food text into structured JSON payloads containing exact macro counts. When you write code in Cursor, Agent mode calls this tool to populate your database schemas with real ingredient data. You do not need to write mock objects or guess API shapes. Your agent queries the endpoint, retrieves the precise nutritional breakdown, and writes the code using actual data structures.
Test recipe search logic using this MCP Server
The `search_edamam_recipes` tool pulls direct recipe matches using detailed health and diet filters. You test your application's search algorithms inside Cursor by letting the AI call the live database. This workflow speeds up development of fitness or culinary apps. You inspect real-world API payloads containing cuisine types and diet labels without leaving your editor.
Code meal tracking features with live context
This MCP Server links your local development environment to verified nutritional APIs. You configure the server inside your project's .cursor/mcp.json file to grant your editor instant access. Having live tools at your disposal means you build faster. The agent writes, runs, and debugs your food-tracking code using live API responses instead of static documentation.
