How to Use the Effiliation MCP in Cursor
Build affiliate reporting scripts with live Effiliation data injected directly by your Cursor agent.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Effiliation MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Effiliation to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Scaffold Scripts with Live Data
Stop writing API client boilerplate. Tell your Cursor agent to build a script that audits your affiliate revenue, and it will use `quick_affiliate_revenue_audit` and `list_affiliate_transactions` to generate working code with real data. This means no more mock data or empty stubs. The agent calls the tools, gets the JSON response, and writes the code to parse it. You go from an idea to a functioning script in one step.
Find and Vet Programs in Your IDE
You don't need to switch contexts to find new affiliate partners. Use `@Effiliation search_affiliate_programs` in Cursor's chat to find programs that fit your product. Once you have a list, the agent can use `get_program_details` to pull commission rates and terms right into your editor. It's perfect for building automated scripts that monitor and join new, high-value programs.
Connect Your Code to the Effiliation MCP Server
Your agent gets direct access to your affiliate account's performance. It can call `get_performance_statistics` to get a high-level overview or `list_latest_conversions` to see individual sales. The code Cursor generates isn't a guess; it's based on the actual schema and data returned by the Effiliation API. This tightens the loop between checking your data and building the tools to manage it.
