How to Use the Elastic Email MCP in Cline
Let Cline pull live Elastic Email data directly into VS Code to build dashboards, analyze contacts, and debug delivery issues autonomously.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Elastic Email MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Elastic Email to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build dashboards with Cline
Tell Cline to create a marketing admin panel and watch it work. It uses `list_marketing_campaigns` and `get_campaign_performance` to fetch live data, then writes the React components to display it. You skip mocking API responses entirely. The MCP agent pulls real metrics, formats the charts, and stages the commit before you even switch files.
Manage email lists via this MCP Server
Working with subscriber data usually means juggling CSVs. Now Cline just calls `list_contact_address_lists` to see your segments, followed by `list_marketing_contacts` to grab the actual users. If you need to clean up a stale list, the agent writes a script that cross-references those users against `list_delivery_logs` to filter out hard bounces.
Sync email designs to code
Keeping your local HTML templates in sync with your sending platform is annoying. Cline runs `list_email_designs` to pull down the active templates from your account. Need to check account limits before a big send? It triggers `get_elastic_email_metadata` and writes a quick status check into your deployment script.
