How to Use the Email (.eml) File Parser MCP in Cline
Let Cline build components from your emails. This tool turns raw .eml files into clean text Cline can actually use.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Email (.eml) File Parser MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Email (.eml) File Parser to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Convert Raw Emails to Usable Text
The `parse_eml_file` tool cleans up messy .eml exports. You give it a file path, and it returns a simple object with the sender, subject, and plain text body. No more feeding your agent a wall of MIME-encoded garbage. Cline gets clean input, so it gives you better code and analysis back.
Build UIs from Email Content with Cline
Ask Cline to "build a ticket summary component from this support email." Cline can now use `parse_eml_file` to get the core information from the .eml file. It then uses that clean text to write the actual component code, create the file, and even stage it for commit. This connects your inbox directly to your codebase.
Stop Wasting Tokens on HTML Junk
An .eml file is mostly HTML and CSS. This MCP server strips all of that locally before the content is sent to the model. You save a huge number of tokens on every call. This makes bigger, more complex interactions with Cline practical, especially when working with long email threads.
