The `list_organizations` tool grabs your primary organization ID so Claude Desktop can map out your entire event portfolio. You need this ID before you run anything else. Once connected, your agent pulls active listings using `list_organization_events` to check dates, capacities, and live statuses. You don't have to open a browser tab to check sales velocity. Ask your agent to run `list_event_orders` and `list_event_ticket_classes` to see exactly which tiers are selling out. It gives you hard numbers on current inventory without clicking through the standard dashboard.
Build and modify events
The `create_event` tool requires a name, start date, end date, and currency to generate a new live listing. You just tell your MCP client the basic parameters. If you need to fix a typo in the description or push the start time back an hour, `update_event` handles the mutation instantly. Venues get their own dedicated pipeline. You pass a name and address into `create_organization_venue` to register a new physical location. Then you use `list_organization_venues` to grab the new location ID and attach it to your upcoming shows.
Track attendees and orders
The `list_event_attendees` tool dumps the guest list for any specific event ID you provide. When someone complains about a missing ticket at the door, you feed their details into `get_order` to pull the exact purchase record. This setup removes the friction of manual cross-referencing. You can pull the event details via `get_event` and immediately cross-check the capacity against the actual attendee count. It keeps your operations grounded in actual data.
