Build Components with Live Data

This MCP server lets Cline build real UI components with your live Everhour data. Just tell Cline to "build a dashboard of all active projects." It gets to work immediately. Cline uses `list_tracked_projects` to get the main list. Then it calls `get_project_detailed_data` for each one to get budget and status info. It uses that live data to write the actual code for a new component, right in your project.

Automate Your Invoicing Prep with Cline

You can get Cline to handle the tedious parts of prepping invoices. Just ask it to "get all billable hours for Client X for last month." Cline takes over from there. It starts by using `list_billing_clients` to confirm the client ID, then fetches all associated time entries with `list_team_time_records`. Cline can format this data into a CSV, a JSON object, or even draft the code for an invoice summary page.

Check Team Activity End-to-End

Find out what your team is working on without leaving your editor. Ask Cline, "show me what the design team is tracking right now." It understands the request and executes the steps. Cline will use `list_organization_team_members` to identify who is on the design team. Then, it will check the status of each member's timer using `get_currently_running_timer`. The final output is a clean summary, not a raw data dump.

Common questions about Everhour Time Tracking MCP in Cline

Yes. You can ask Cline to fetch data, like using `list_team_time_records`, and then tell it to write that data into a new CSV or JSON file in your current workspace. It handles both fetching the data and creating the file.
Go to the Cline sidebar and click the MCP Servers icon. You can find the Everhour server in the Marketplace for a one-click install. Once added, Cline automatically knows about all the available tools.
Yes, you can get the data needed to make that call. Ask Cline to compare hours logged from `list_team_time_records` against the project's budget from `get_project_detailed_data`. Cline can fetch both and present them to you.
Cline doesn't just show you data; it builds with it. Other agents might list your projects. Cline can take that list and write the code for a new React component that displays it, including tests.
It is. Cline accesses your Everhour data—like project names and time entries—using a secure token. Vinkius processes these requests in a temporary, zero-trust environment. Your data is never stored or logged.
