Automate Donation Reporting

This is perfect for a cron job. A simple shell script can have Claude Code call `list_donations` and pipe the JSON output to an accounting script or a database loader. Set it once and your reporting is automated. Because it's just a CLI command, you can integrate it into any backend process. It's a headless way to get your financial data out of Every.org on a schedule.

Monitor Every.org API Status

Use the `check_everyorg_status` tool as a health check in your deployment pipeline. Before deploying code that relies on creating donations, your script can verify connectivity first. If the API is down, the tool returns an error, and you can fail the build. This simple check prevents deploying broken code or running jobs that are guaranteed to fail. It's a reliable gate for your CI/CD process.

Build Charity Search into Your CLI

You can build your own command-line tools that need to look up nonprofit data. Your script can call `search_nonprofits` with a query and parse the raw JSON output. There's no SDK to install or library to import. It's a straightforward way to add powerful external data to any terminal application. This MCP Server makes Every.org's database feel like a local utility.

Yes. Set up a cron job to execute a Claude Code command that calls `check_everyorg_status`. You can then pipe the result to a monitoring service or a log file.

Yes, all Vinkius MCP servers have usage policies to ensure fair access. For high-volume scripting, it's best to cache results from tools like `search_nonprofits` when possible.
The server handles your donation and fundraiser records, but only when you explicitly call tools like `list_donations`. Your access token is stored locally in your `~/.claude.json` file, and all communication with the Vinkius-managed endpoint is encrypted.
