How to Use the Faceit MCP in Cursor
Inject real-time match data into your codebase using Cursor and the Faceit MCP Server for accurate stat-driven development.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Faceit MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Faceit to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Get live stats into Cursor agents
Stop using mock data for your esports dashboards. By using `get_match_stats` and `get_player_stats` within the Cursor agent, you pull actual performance numbers into your editor. Your code reflects reality because the AI reads the live API responses directly. It saves you from writing custom boilerplate just to see if your UI components handle real player data correctly.
Query match history with Cursor
Use `get_player_history` to feed real match results into your local dev environment. Cursor can process these datasets to help you build and test your logic against actual win/loss records. This workflow clears the path for faster iteration. You'll see how your code handles different score formats and ELO changes by feeding it real-world data points from the platform.
Search tournaments within Cursor
Need to integrate tournament schedules into your app? Use `search_tournaments` to grab live prize pool data, start times, and registration status directly through the agent. It removes the friction of manual data entry. You define the logic in Cursor, and the agent fetches the necessary tournament details from the platform to populate your production code.
