…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Faker MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Faker to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write tests with real data inside Cline
`get_users` and `get_credit_cards` generate realistic user accounts and payment details directly inside your VS Code workspace. Cline calls these tools to get clean payloads, then writes the exact assertions into your test suites. The agent runs your test runner, catches failures, and adjusts the mock inputs using this MCP Server until your code handles every edge case. You don't have to write dry, static fixtures anymore.
Build dynamic mock APIs
`get_places` and `get_texts` provide realistic location names and body text to mock out backend endpoints. Cline writes the Express or Fastify routes, imports the tool outputs, and spins up a local mock server. This setup lets you test your frontend against a realistic API before the backend team even starts writing code. Cline handles the entire file creation and server configuration.
Custom schema generation on demand
`get_custom` maps your specific TypeScript interfaces to mock generators for instant, structured data creation. Cline reads your type definitions, builds the JSON mapping, and calls the tool to get matching records. It inserts the generated records directly into your development database or JSON server. This keeps your development environment populated with data that actually matches your application models.
