How to Use the Feedly MCP in Windsurf
Use Windsurf to filter your news feeds and organize industry research without leaving your IDE.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Feedly MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Feedly to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate your daily news consumption
Cascade pulls your latest updates directly into your workspace. It uses `get_stream_contents` to grab fresh articles from your subscriptions so you can review industry shifts while you code. Stop switching windows to check headlines. Your agent monitors these streams and presents the data you need exactly when you need it.
Manage subscriptions inside Windsurf
Add or drop news sources by tasking Cascade with `subscribe_to_feed` or `unsubscribe_from_feed`. It handles the backend changes while you focus on your current project. This MCP Server keeps your research organized. You can run `list_subscriptions` to see your current sources and ensure your feed remains relevant to your goals.
Filter research by category
Use `list_categories` and `list_tags` to group your incoming data. Windsurf can then sort through specific topics using these labels to keep your research clean. Once you finish reading, trigger `mark_articles_as_read` to clear your queue. This keeps your focus on what matters without the clutter of old content.
