How to Use the Finch MCP in Windsurf
Pull payroll and HR data directly into Windsurf. Let Cascade handle your employee data syncs without switching tabs.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Finch MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Finch to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate employee directory lookups in Windsurf
Cascade can query your entire organization's structure without manual exports. Use `list_directory` to grab current staff lists and pipe them straight into your codebase. You avoid the back-and-forth between your HR portal and your editor. Cascade interprets the data returned by `get_employment` to map roles and departments instantly.
Fetch pay statements with the Finch MCP Server
Stop digging through payroll portals to find historical payment data. The `list_pay_statements` tool lets your agent pull specific payment records based on your defined criteria. Windsurf reads these results to generate reports or feed local testing environments. It keeps your sensitive payroll logic grounded in real-world data points.
Sync HRIS provider data using Windsurf
Connecting to different payroll systems is a headache of custom API wrappers. This server normalizes data from multiple providers through a single interface. Use `list_supported_providers` to see what your current setup allows. Your agent handles the messy schema differences behind the scenes so you focus on the logic.
