How to Use the Firebase (REST & Admin APIs) MCP in Cline
Cline executes end-to-end tasks by connecting directly to your Firebase projects for real-time data management.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Firebase (REST & Admin APIs) MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Firebase (REST & Admin APIs) to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct Document Manipulation
Cline uses `firestore_create_doc` and `firestore_delete_doc` to build and clean up your data models. It handles the JSON payloads so you can focus on the structure. You tell the agent to update a specific schema, and it performs the `firestore_patch_doc` call. This keeps your database state consistent with the UI components you are currently building.
Automated Auth Workflows
Test your sign-in logic using `auth_sign_in` or `auth_lookup` without switching to a browser. Cline manages the session tokens to keep your testing flow moving. This capability allows for rapid verification of user permissions. You can verify if a specific account has the right access level just by asking your agent to check the records.
Messaging and Alert Testing
Send test notifications with `fcm_send_message` to confirm your delivery logic. Cline handles the request formatting so you can verify your messaging pipeline instantly. This removes the manual work of triggering alerts through a console. You get immediate confirmation that your backend is pushing the correct payloads to your users.
