How to Use the Flodesk MCP in Windsurf
Use Windsurf to connect your Flodesk segments directly to your codebase and automate subscriber management without leaving the IDE.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Flodesk MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Flodesk to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate subscriber updates in Windsurf
Cascade pulls subscriber data directly into your workflow using `upsert_subscriber`. You can map incoming user data to your email lists without manual entry. Windsurf reads your logic and executes the sync automatically. It ensures that every email address is correctly categorized as soon as the data hits your system.
Trigger workflows from your code
Use `add_subscriber_to_workflow` to launch custom email sequences directly from your application logic. This MCP Server lets your agent trigger specific marketing flows based on user actions in your app. Windsurf handles the API calls so you can focus on the trigger conditions. It maps your internal events to Flodesk workflows in a single pass.
Manage segments through your IDE
Visualize your marketing data by calling `list_segments` and `get_segment` within the Windsurf sidebar. You can audit your current subscriber groupings without switching tabs. Cascade uses these tools to plan complex audience filtering. You get a clear view of how your segments are structured before you push any changes to the production list.
