Long-context reasoning over Flotiq schemas

You use `search_global_content` and `get_content_details` to feed your entire Flotiq content library into Google ADK's 1M-token context window. The Gemini model analyzes deep internal arrays and content structures to find patterns, update outdated records, or generate complex summaries. You do not need to chunk your data because the context window holds everything at once. This integration lets you combine your BigQuery data warehouses with live CMS content. Your Google ADK agent pulls analytics from Google Cloud and uses them to write updated attributes directly back to Flotiq.

Enterprise-grade MCP Server data sync

The `get_tenant_limits` and `list_content_objects` tools allow your Google ADK agent to monitor API usage and manage large content migrations. The agent tracks your rented identity limits before executing batch operations, ensuring you stay within your plan thresholds. This prevents service interruptions during high-traffic updates. If you run your agents on Google Cloud, you can restrict the tools exposed to the model using the ADK tool_names filter. This ensures that sensitive tools like schema modification are locked down while read-only tools remain active.

Dynamic schema generation and object creation

You run `create_cms_object` and `patch_cms_object` to let your Google ADK agent write fresh marketing materials and update existing records. The agent generates structured JSON payloads that conform exactly to your active Flotiq content models. This automates the pipeline from raw market research in BigQuery to live CMS entries. By reading the delivery model structure first, the agent avoids validation errors. It updates attributes safely, ensuring that your frontend applications receive clean, structured data on every request.

Setup guide

Set up Flotiq MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with Flotiq tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="Flotiq_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to Flotiq tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about Flotiq MCP in Google ADK

Yes, your Google ADK agent can read data from Google Cloud storage or BigQuery and use `create_cms_object` to write it to Flotiq. The agent maps the source fields to your Flotiq schemas automatically.
Your agent runs `list_media_assets` to retrieve the properties and URLs of your media files in Flotiq. Google ADK passes these assets to multimodal Gemini models for analysis, tagging, or description generation.
Yes, you can use the ADK `tool_names` parameter to limit which Flotiq tools are available to your agent. For example, you can expose only `list_content_objects` and hide `wipe_cms_object` to prevent accidental deletions.
The agent runs `get_content_type_schema` to pull the latest structural definitions directly from your CMS. This ensures your agent always works with the current schema, avoiding hardcoded validation errors.
All Flotiq media properties, JSON payloads, and API keys are transmitted over an encrypted, zero-trust connection. Vinkius executes the MCP Server in an isolated V8 sandbox that destroys all session data immediately after the Google ADK agent finishes its run.
