Connect Flow MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Flow to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Map code issues directly to Flow tasks using Cursor
The `create_task` tool allows Cursor to generate new tickets directly from your open code files. When you hit a bug or a todo in your editor, your agent creates the corresponding card in your tracking board. This means you never have to leave your development loop to log work. Cursor reads the file context, writes the task description, and links it to the active project.
Read project context inside your Cursor workspace
The `list_projects` and `list_task_lists` tools let Cursor pull your live project boards directly into the editor chat. You can query your active tasks to align your current branch with your assigned tickets. Your agent uses this live data to verify what you should work on next. It eliminates the guesswork of matching git branches to outdated ticket descriptions.
Update task progress from the Cursor terminal
Using `update_task` and `add_task_comment` lets Cursor change ticket statuses and post commit hashes directly to Flow. When your agent finishes writing a feature, it can automatically comment on the relevant task. This automates your manual status updates. You write the code, and Cursor updates the tracker with the exact details of what changed.
