Autonomous bot monitoring with CrewAI

Assign a monitor agent to watch your `list_bot_accounts` status. If an account goes offline, the agent takes action immediately. This creates a self-healing system. Your agents handle the routine checks so you don't have to watch logs all day.

Automated workflow oversight for CrewAI

Use `list_workflows` to give your crew a full view of your active automations. They can assess which flows are running and which need adjustment. It allows the agents to maintain the state of your operations. They act as the overseers for your entire bot infrastructure.

Response escalation using CrewAI agents

When an agent identifies an issue, it can call `trigger_webhook` to start an escalation sequence. Your agents coordinate the response automatically. This keeps your operations moving without manual intervention. You define the escalation path, and the agents execute it.

Setup guide

Set up Flow XO MCP in CrewAI

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install CrewAI

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.

  2. 2

    Add the MCP URL to your agent

    Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the mcps list. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically.

  3. 3

    Kick off your crew

    Create a Crew with your agent and tasks. Call crew.kickoff() — the agent will automatically invoke Flow XO tools as needed.

crew.py
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew

agent = Agent(
    role="Flow XO Analyst",
    goal="Access and analyze Flow XO data via MCP.",
    backstory="Expert analyst with direct Flow XO access.",
    mcps=[
        "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    ],
)

task = Task(
    description="List recent Flow XO transactions",
    agent=agent,
    expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)

crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()
print(result)
