Build Sales Dashboards in Cline
Connecting the folk MCP Server to Cline turns VS Code into a custom CRM builder. Tell the agent to create a React component for your partnership pipeline, and it uses `list_groups` to grab the live categories. Instead of mocking up fake data, Cline pulls real records via `list_contacts`. It writes the code, imports the actual JSON responses, and shows you a working diff with your real team data.
Automate folk Contact Creation
The `create_contact` tool lets Cline push new entries into your database directly from your terminal. If you have a CSV of event attendees, just ask the agent to parse the file and upload them. Cline reads the local file, maps the columns to the API schema, and fires off the creation events. You get a fully populated CRM without writing a single Python script.
Pull History with the MCP Server
Fetching deep relationship context is simple when Cline has access to `list_interactions` and `list_contact_notes`. The agent can pull a specific user's entire history before generating a custom support script for them. It starts by verifying the user with `get_contact_details`. Then it aggregates every note and touchpoint, feeding that raw context into whatever feature or document you asked it to build.
