How to Use the Formsite MCP in Cline
Connect Formsite to VS Code. Cline runs form tools to build databases and sync live submission data directly from your editor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Formsite MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Formsite to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Live Dashboards in Cline
The `list_results` tool feeds live user submissions directly into Cline. The agent processes this payload, writes the React components, and binds the data without manual copy-pasting. You can ask the agent to build a dashboard. It checks the fields using `list_form_items`, writes the code, and verifies the layout using actual form data.
Manage Webhook Lifecycles via Cline
The `create_webhook` tool allows Cline to set up real-time integrations for your backend services. It writes the receiver endpoint, deploys it, and registers the webhook in one go. Use `list_webhooks` to inspect active destinations. If an integration is no longer needed, the agent runs `delete_webhook` to remove it immediately.
Read Form Metadata using this MCP Server
The `list_forms` tool lists every active form in your account. Cline scans this list to find the exact target form you want to work on. Once found, `get_form_details` retrieves administrative properties. This MCP server lets your agent understand the form's state before writing integration code.
