Script Your Entire Tenant Lifecycle

This isn't about conversational AI. This is for automation. Use this MCP server in a bash script to `claude mcp exec frontegg-mcp list_tenants`, then pipe the output to `jq` to get a list of IDs for cleanup. A cron job can then run nightly to call `delete_tenant` on any staging accounts older than 30 days. It's headless identity management for your infrastructure.

Automate User Provisioning in CI/CD

When your pipeline spins up a new preview environment, it needs test data. Your script can call `claude mcp exec frontegg-mcp create_tenant` and then `create_user` to provision a clean test account every single time. It makes your integration tests self-contained and repeatable. You can also script the creation of machine-to-machine credentials for backend services by listing available tokens with `list_m2m_tokens`.

Run Terminal-Based Security Audits

Set up a simple cron job that runs a shell script. In that script, use Claude Code to call `list_tenants`, then loop through each one to execute `list_users` and `list_permissions`. This gives you a snapshot of your access control model. You can pipe the JSON output to a log file or a monitoring service to track changes over time. This turns your security policy into an automated, enforceable check within your existing infrastructure.

Common questions about Frontegg MCP in Claude Code

Run `claude mcp add --transport http frontegg-mcp -- ` in your terminal. Use `claude mcp list` to confirm it's connected. All configuration is stored locally in your `~/.claude.json` file.
Yes. Since Claude Code is a command-line tool, you can install it in your CI runner and execute commands like `claude mcp exec frontegg-mcp create_user` as part of any workflow.
You execute tools directly. To create a user, you'd run `claude mcp exec frontegg-mcp create_user -- --email 'user@domain.com' --tenantId 'tnt-...'`. You can pipe the output to other command-line tools.
Run `claude mcp exec frontegg-mcp list_tenants`. It will return a JSON array of all tenant accounts, which you can then process with tools like `jq` or a script.
This server processes your Frontegg user and tenant records. With Claude Code, the connection is handled by the transport you define. The Vinkius server itself is ephemeral and operates under a zero-trust model, processing data in-memory without logging or storing it.
