How to Use the Fulcrum MCP in Cursor
Write code that interacts with your field operations by connecting Cursor directly to your live Fulcrum datasets.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Fulcrum MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Fulcrum to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Query Field Records While Coding
The `query_records_sql` tool allows Cursor to execute raw SQL against your actual field data while you write application logic. Instead of mocking up fake inspection results to test a dashboard, your agent pulls real rows. If you just need a quick sample of recent submissions, `list_field_records` fetches them by form ID. Your agent uses these live responses to generate perfectly typed TypeScript interfaces or Python models.
Map Fulcrum MCP Server Schemas
Before writing any ingestion code, `get_form_schema` tells your editor exactly how a specific field app is structured. Cursor pairs this with `list_data_forms` to figure out which apps are active in your workspace. When you need to drill down into how metadata is handled, `get_record_details` pulls the complete JSON structure for a single entry. You stop guessing what the payload looks like because the agent just reads it.
Build Webhook Handlers Fast
Setting up integrations requires knowing your current routing, which `list_webhooks` handles instantly. You can ask the agent to check where existing webhooks point before writing a new serverless function to catch them. To test your new endpoints, the agent can fire `create_record` to generate a real event. Meanwhile, tools like `check_api_status` and `list_organization_members` help you validate your authentication headers and user mapping logic.
