Trigger Gatling runs inside VS Code Copilot
The `start_simulation` tool launches performance runs on Gatling Enterprise, while `list_teams` verifies team-wide resource access. VS Code Copilot uses these tools to let any developer on your team trigger load tests from their chat window. You get immediate feedback on API performance without leaving your shared codebase. This MCP Server integrates directly into your daily development environment. If a pull request needs performance validation, VS Code Copilot initiates the test and reports the run ID. It ensures your team maintains high performance standards before merging code.
Track load test runs within VS Code Copilot
The `get_run` tool retrieves live metrics from your active tests, while `abort_simulation` lets you stop a run instantly if thresholds are breached. VS Code Copilot monitors these runs to keep your team informed of performance regressions. You see the error rates and request volumes update in real time. Your agent uses this data to alert you if a deployment causes response times to spike. If the system starts failing, VS Code Copilot can automatically trigger a stop to prevent service disruption. It gives your team a reliable safety net during heavy load testing.
Inspect Gatling configurations with this MCP Server
The `list_simulations` and `list_packages` tools retrieve your test scenarios and uploaded deployment artifacts from Gatling Enterprise via this MCP Server. VS Code Copilot reads these configurations to verify that your local test scripts match what is deployed. This prevents your team from running outdated simulation classes. By pulling these details, your agent ensures every developer is using the correct simulation ID. You can ask VS Code Copilot to list all scenarios to find the exact one you need. It keeps your entire team aligned on the same testing parameters.
