How to Use the Geekflare MCP in Cline
Tell Cline to audit your site. It will run the checks, analyze the data, and can even write the code to fix the issues it finds.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Geekflare MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Geekflare to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
From Audit to Action Plan
Cline isn't just for running checks; it's for solving problems. Ask it to "Audit my site's performance and create a ticket for any issues." Cline will use Geekflare's `measure_load_time` and `run_lighthouse_audit` to get the data. Based on the results, it can then draft a markdown file outlining the problems, complete with the raw metrics. It can even stage that file for commit. You go from a vague request to a documented task in seconds.
Automate Security Checks with this MCP Server
Use Cline to build security checks right into your workflow. For example, "Check the SSL certificate for our staging environment." Cline connects to the Geekflare server and runs `scan_ssl_tls_cert` for you. It doesn't stop there. You can tell Cline to "get the DNS and WHOIS info for this domain and flag any new records." It'll use `get_dns_records` and `get_whois_data`, then diff the output against a previous run.
Visual Regression and Link Testing in Cline
Before you merge a big CSS change, ask Cline to "check the homepage for visual changes and broken links." It will use `take_website_screenshot` to grab a picture of the current state. Simultaneously, it runs `check_broken_links` to make sure you didn't mess up any navigation. Cline can then show you the screenshot and the link report right inside VS Code, letting you approve the changes with confidence.
