Connect Gelato MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Gelato to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Validate Gelato Accounts Inside VS Code
The `verify_api_connection` tool lets Cline confirm your credentials before generating any API integration code. You paste your token, and the agent tests the connection to ensure the endpoint accepts requests. From there, `get_account_info` pulls your specific billing currency and account ID. Cline uses these exact variables to populate the hardcoded constants or `.env` templates in your local workspace.
Code Complete Checkout Flows via MCP
Cline reads `list_catalog_products` to mock up your frontend product grids with real Gelato inventory data. You tell it to build a t-shirt storefront, and it fetches the exact variants and specifications using `get_product_details`. For the backend, the agent writes the routing logic that calls `get_shipping_quote` and `create_print_order`. It constructs the exact JSON payloads required, writes the unit tests to verify the math, and shows you the diff for approval.
Build Admin Dashboards with Real Data
Calling `list_print_orders` feeds live transaction histories directly into Cline's context window. You ask it to generate a React admin panel, and it maps the actual response schema into your table components. To add shipment tracking, the agent implements `get_order_shipments` and `get_order_status`. It writes the fetch requests and state management code needed to display carrier updates to your end users.
