…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Gitee MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Gitee to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject Gitee file contents into Cursor Agent mode
Cursor uses `get_file_content` to pull live code from your Gitee repository directly into your active editing session. Your agent can read the latest files on Gitee to write context-aware code that matches your remote repository state. Instead of working with outdated local stubs, the agent calls `get_repo` to understand your Gitee project setup. This ensures the code Cursor generates is grounded in your actual production environment.
Resolve Gitee issues inside the Cursor editor
You can ask the Cursor agent to list your open bugs using `list_repo_issues`. The agent reads the issue descriptions, finds the relevant local files, and writes the fix without you switching to a web browser. After writing the fix, your agent can use `create_issue` to document new bugs found during development. It links these issues directly to your Gitee repository, keeping your team's project board updated from your code editor.
Manage Gitee pull requests using this MCP Server
When your local changes are ready, Cursor can check the remote history using `list_repo_commits`. This prevents merge conflicts by letting the agent inspect what has changed on Gitee before you push your work. The agent then calls `create_pull_request` to submit your code for review. You can also monitor active discussions by querying `list_pull_requests` directly from the Cursor chat sidebar.
