Connect Google Books MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Google Books to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fetch live metadata within Cursor
Write code that interacts with real book data instead of hardcoded stubs. Using `search_books` allows your AI agent to pull current titles and authors while you write your application logic. You can feed this data directly into your scripts or UI components. It ensures your development environment reflects actual industry data from the start.
Rapid ISBN lookups for development
Need to populate a database or test a feature with real ISBN records? The `get_volume_by_isbn` tool gives you the exact object structure you need for your models. Stop manually copying data from websites. Your agent grabs the JSON response and formats it for your codebase automatically.
Browse curated lists in Cursor
Use `list_bookshelf_volumes` to pull sample data for testing your book-related features. You can browse public collections to find diverse datasets for your application. It works by providing a structured list of volumes complete with categories and image links. You get realistic content without needing to manually curate a test database.
