Connect Google Calendar MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Google Calendar to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject real calendar metadata into your code
This Google Calendar MCP server exposes `get_calendar_metadata` so your Cursor agent can inspect calendar properties while writing integration code. Instead of guessing API responses or using stale mocks, the editor pulls live structural details directly into your active workspace. When writing a script to sync schedules, your agent runs `list_calendars` to verify exact calendar IDs. You get real data structures injected into your functions, cutting down on runtime debugging cycles.
Validate scheduling code with live free-busy checks
The `check_free_busy` tool lets Cursor run live tests against your actual calendar blocks. Your agent executes this check directly from the chat window to confirm your custom scheduling algorithms handle busy windows correctly. By combining this with `create_event`, you can write, run, and verify calendar automation scripts in one place. The agent tests the actual API payload, ensuring your code works before you commit it.
Manage MCP Server permissions and access lists in Cursor
Your Cursor editor uses `list_acl` to audit access control rules for your shared calendars. This allows you to inspect who has read or write permissions on specific schedules without opening the Google admin console. If you need to verify or modify specific calendar properties, the agent calls `get_settings` to retrieve your configuration. This keeps your security audits fast and integrated directly into your development workspace.
