…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect GPTZero MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect GPTZero to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Run instant prose audits inside Cursor
The `detect_ai_in_text` tool scans your files and documentation to highlight machine-written syntax. Your agent can read your active workspace files, send the raw string to the API, and report back with exact probability metrics. This keeps your documentation looking natural and human-written. You don't have to copy and paste text back and forth between your editor and a web browser.
Track your API health and quotas
The `check_api_health` tool monitors your connection status to this MCP Server. It makes sure your API key is active and the endpoint is responding before you run large batch scans. You can also call `get_api_quotas` to monitor credit consumption during long coding sessions. It keeps your developer budget predictable.
Configure this MCP Server for your workspace
The `get_usage_policy` tool retrieves the active rate limits and operational rules directly from the API. This lets your agent space out automated text scans to avoid hitting rate limits. If you need to debug a score with this MCP integration, run `get_interpretation_guide` to see the exact threshold definitions. It gives you the technical context needed to understand the raw scores.
