How to Use the Granola MCP in Cline
Cline builds features faster by pulling meeting requirements from Granola.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Granola MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Granola to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline executes meeting-based workflows
Cline uses `list_documents` to find relevant notes and then triggers `get_content` to read the details. It creates the files and code you need based on those notes. This workflow means you don't copy-paste info manually. Cline does the work by querying the Granola API directly to fulfill your requests.
Extract tasks via Cline and this MCP Server
Point Cline at a specific meeting ID and it runs `get_action_items`. It identifies the specific tasks and builds the implementation plan for you. It avoids the guesswork of manual tracking. You get a clear path forward because the agent pulls the requirements straight from the source of truth.
Manage Granola folders inside Cline
Use `list_folders` to see how your team organizes meeting notes. Cline can navigate your workspace just like a human teammate would. This helps when you need to find notes from a specific project or client. It makes the entire archive of your discussions accessible to the agent.
