Connect HackEDU (Security Journey) MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect HackEDU (Security Journey) to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fix code and trigger training in Cursor
`create_issue` pushes new vulnerability findings straight to your training pipeline while you write code. Cursor uses the MCP Server to push issues directly to the platform, setting up the training task without you opening a browser. This means you write code that fixes the bug while simultaneously assigning the relevant lesson to your team. No more copy-pasting CVE codes or manually tracking who needs to learn what.
Query security taxonomy inside the editor
`list_vulnerabilities` maps your workspace bugs directly to the HackEDU taxonomy of CWE, CVE, and CAPEC issues. Your editor uses this MCP tool to lookup the exact definition and impact of a vulnerability while you review a pull request. Cursor reads these definitions to suggest precise code fixes. You get instant context on why a specific coding pattern is dangerous and how to refactor it immediately.
Audit team progress using Cursor MCP Server
`get_team_progress` retrieves real-time training completion stats for any configured engineering squad. Cursor displays these metrics directly in your sidebar, letting you track compliance alongside your git history. You can also call `list_teams` to see how different groups are performing. This keeps your security sprint planning fast because you have the raw training data right next to your codebase.
