How to Use the Hetzner MCP in Cursor
Build and deploy directly from Cursor. Use the Hetzner MCP server to turn your code into production-ready infrastructure.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Hetzner MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Hetzner to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Deploy infrastructure from your editor
Map your environment requirements to real resources using `create_server` and `create_volume`. You write the code, and the agent executes the infrastructure deployment. Stop mocking your cloud environment. By using live calls to the API, you ensure that your infrastructure definitions match the reality of your deployed stack.
Manage firewalls via code
Define your security posture by calling `create_firewall` directly from your project files. This ensures your network security is as version-controlled as your application logic. Check your active policies anytime with `list_firewalls`. You get instant feedback on whether your security rules are applied correctly before you push your next commit.
Monitor resources inside Cursor
Keep an eye on your operational overhead without switching tabs. Use `list_servers` and `get_server` to verify that your code is running on the expected hardware. If you need to scale, use the available tools to provision new load balancers or floating IPs. Everything is managed through the same agent interface you use for writing your application features.
