…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Honeywell Home MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect Honeywell Home to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Standardize Honeywell Home access in VS Code Copilot
Commit your mcp.json file to the repo so your whole team has access to the same tools. Everyone can use `get_locations` and `get_devices` to interact with your Honeywell Home setup without extra setup. This ensures consistency across your engineering team. You manage the tools once, and everyone gets the same interface for querying and controlling home hardware.
Automate Honeywell Home testing in VS Code Copilot
Your team can build automated test suites that check thermostat behavior using `get_thermostat_data`. You can then adjust settings with `update_setpoint` to verify your code logic. This moves your testing beyond static mocks. By using real Honeywell Home API responses, you ensure your automation logic is production-ready before you even deploy.
Manage Honeywell Home security in VS Code Copilot
You can trigger security changes like `arm_system` or `disarm_system` through the Copilot chat. This is great for teams managing shared lab spaces or smart office environments. It keeps the control within the editor. Your team stays focused on the code while having the ability to check the status of connected hardware at any time.
