How to Use the HubSpot MCP in Cursor
Build apps against live HubSpot data. Get real CRM objects into your Cursor code, not stubs.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect HubSpot MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect HubSpot to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate Code with Real Data
Stop mocking HubSpot API responses. Tell the Cursor agent to `get_contact_details` for a real contact, and it will inject the actual JSON payload into your editor. You can build functions and components with the correct data structure from the start. This changes how you write integrations. Use `get_object_schema` to have the agent generate typed interfaces for your HubSpot custom objects. You're no longer guessing at field names or data types; you're coding against the live schema.
Manage Your CRM from the IDE
You don't need to leave your editor to manage test data. Ask the agent to use `create_contact` to spin up a new user, then `link_crm_objects` to associate it with a test company. When you're done, clean it up with `remove_contact`. It's a full lifecycle in your editor. You can even query for your test data using `list_contacts` or `search_contacts` to verify your code's effects on the CRM in real-time. This shortens your dev loop significantly.
Your HubSpot MCP Server in Cursor
This MCP server gives your Cursor agent the tools to act as a junior developer with full HubSpot context. It can pull lists of deals, companies, or users with `list_deals`, `list_companies`, and `list_hubspot_users`. Imagine you're building a dashboard. You can ask the agent, "scaffold a component and populate it with data from `list_deals`." The agent calls the tool, gets the real data, and writes the component code that renders it.
