Connect Hugging Face MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Hugging Face to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Components with Model Inference
Tell Cline to build a feature that uses a specific AI task, like text classification. It will use the Hugging Face tools to find a model with `list_models_by_task`, then use `run_text_classification` to get sample output. Cline then writes the actual code for you—a React component, a Python function, whatever you need. It uses the model's output to build a working implementation, creates the file, and even writes a test for it.
Automate Model Discovery in VS Code
This MCP Server turns Cline into your research assistant. Ask it to "find the top 5 text-generation models and write a summary of each." Cline will use `list_models`, `get_model`, and `run_summarization` to do the work. The results aren't just dumped into the chat. Cline creates a new Markdown file in your project, formats the findings into a clean report, and opens it for you. It handles the entire research and documentation workflow.
Your Cline Agent Does the Work
Cline's strength is executing multi-step plans. You can give it a high-level goal like, "Find a good summarization model on Hugging Face and create a Python script that uses it." Your agent will plan and execute the steps: `list_models` to search, `get_model` to get details, and then it will write a `script.py` that calls the model's API endpoint. It does the job, you just review the code.
