Generate UI Assets on the Fly
The `text_to_image` tool lets Cline generate images from a text prompt. You can tell it to build a new user profile card, and it won't just write the code—it can create and embed a placeholder avatar right into the component. The image comes back as a Base64 string, ready to use in an `<img>` tag. This saves you from having to find or create placeholder graphics yourself.
Turn Images into Structured Data
Use `object_detection` to have Cline analyze a screenshot or a photo. It returns JSON with bounding boxes and labels for everything it finds in the image. You can then instruct Cline to take that output and write a React or Vue component that renders the boxes over the original image. It's a quick way to build interactive image analysis tools.
Code with Context from an Image
The `image_to_text` tool gives Cline the ability to describe what's in a picture. This is perfect for having Cline generate alt text automatically for images in your markup. It saves a tedious accessibility step. You can also feed it a UI mockup. Cline can look at the image, describe the layout, and start scaffolding the HTML and CSS to match what it sees. This MCP server connects it all.
