Connect Hygraph (Headless CMS) MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect Hygraph (Headless CMS) to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Introspect Schemas in VS Code Copilot
The `list_schema_introspection` tool automatically determines which models your Hygraph project hosts and delivers the structure to VS Code Copilot. This gives your entire engineering team access to the active backend schema right from the chat panel. If team members need to drill down into specific structures, `get_model_fields` inspects internal arrays to retrieve exact Hygraph configurations. This prevents schema drift across different developer environments in VS Code Copilot.
Execute Queries via this MCP Server
This MCP Server lets your team use `execute_graphql_query` to run direct queries against your headless Hygraph project inside VS Code Copilot. Developers can test queries in the chat window before committing them to the codebase. For writing operations, `execute_graphql_mutation` provisions direct schema writes to update your remote Hygraph structure. Copilot handles the payload delivery securely using your team's shared configuration.
Automate Content and Media Validation
The `create_cms_document` tool dispatches automated validation checks to route new model creation inside VS Code Copilot. This helps your team build automated scripts that generate test Hygraph content during CI/CD runs. To keep track of storage, `list_media_assets` enumerates the structured rules defining your media limits. The MCP Server helps Copilot use this data to alert developers if a Hygraph asset upload pattern violates your backend rules.
