How to Use the IBM QRadar MCP in Cursor
Inject real-time IBM QRadar data into your code using Cursor agent mode.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect IBM QRadar MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect IBM QRadar to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate QRadar lookups in Cursor
Write code that reacts to security events by using `get_rules` to pull your active correlation logic. The agent pulls this data directly into your editor. You aren't dealing with stubs or fake data. You’re building against the actual rules running in your environment.
Reference QRadar sets in Cursor
Call `get_reference_sets` to pull live blocklists or asset groups into your development environment. This helps you write detection logic that respects your current security posture. It’s about writing better code faster. You have the context you need right where you write your logic.
Verify QRadar logs inside Cursor
Use `get_log_sources` to check if your new app is sending data correctly. You can confirm your ingestion status without leaving your IDE. Stop guessing if your logging is active. Check the source list and get back to shipping code.
