Connect iLovePDF MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect iLovePDF to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Trigger iLovePDF tasks directly from Cursor Agent mode
When you write code that handles documents, your Cursor agent uses `start_pdf_task` to run operations like compression or splitting in real time. This lets you test file workflows using actual API responses instead of writing mock data. The agent automatically handles the payload structure for you. It initiates the process and tracks execution without requiring you to switch windows to check progress.
Cursor handles remote document ingestion via MCP
Your developer environment stays clean because Cursor runs `upload_pdf_by_url` to feed remote assets straight to the server. You do not have to download large files to your local workspace just to run a test. Once the file lands on the server, the agent runs `process_pdf_task` to execute your requested changes. The entire pipeline runs asynchronously while you focus on writing your application logic.
Get secure downloads inside your Cursor workspace
Your agent pulls the finished assets by calling `get_pdf_download_link` as soon as the task status turns green. This injects the download URL directly into your open files or terminal output. You can also call `list_pdf_tasks` to double-check the history of your active session. This helps you debug complex multi-step document pipelines on this MCP Server without leaving your editor.
