Connect Intrinio MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Intrinio to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Real-time market data for Cursor
Use `get_stock_prices` to feed actual market figures into your code generation. Your AI doesn't have to guess or use stale data when building your financial models. This keeps your codebase grounded in reality. The data flows from the API straight into your editor, preventing the usual disconnect between code and market truth.
Financial analysis inside Cursor
Access balance sheets and income statements with `get_financials` while you write your scripts. It’s the fastest way to test your logic against real public filings. Your agent parses the JSON results from the tool and applies them to your current file. This removes the manual work of copying and pasting numbers into your logic.
Automated security lookups in Cursor
Query `get_security` and `list_indices` to verify instrument details in real-time. You'll avoid errors caused by using the wrong ticker or exchange identifier in your code. Cursor handles the API calls so you stay in the flow. It’s a cleaner way to build tools that rely on specific market identifiers.
