How to Use the IP2WHOIS MCP in Cursor
Connect the IP2WHOIS MCP Server to Cursor to inject live domain intelligence into your code base.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect IP2WHOIS MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect IP2WHOIS to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Live domain context for Cursor development
Feed live registration data directly into your code generation. Use `lookup_hosted_domains` to see what else is running on an IP address you are investigating. The AI agent reads these results to write more accurate code. It understands your infrastructure context because it fetches the data in real-time.
Automate security checks with Cursor
Use `check_domain_age` to write conditional logic for your security scripts. If the domain is too new, your code can flag it automatically. You stop writing mock data tests. The agent uses actual API responses from `check_domain_availability` to build robust validation logic.
Deep dive into registrar and nameserver data
Get technical details about any domain using `get_nameservers` and `get_registrar_info`. These tools give you the raw data needed to configure your network settings. Cursor uses these tools to help you debug connectivity issues. You get the exact values the registrar reports, not stale documentation.
