Connect Jamf Pro MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Jamf Pro to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate inventory scripts with live hardware data
The `list_computers` tool injects real serial numbers and computer names directly into your Cursor editor. Your Cursor agent uses this live Jamf Pro payload to write and test custom reporting scripts instead of relying on mock JSON files. It makes writing internal Jamf Pro inventory tools much faster inside Cursor. You get actual data structures from your Jamf Pro instance, so your generated Cursor code works on the first run.
Debug mobile asset status inline
The `get_mobile_device` tool pulls OS versions, security statuses, and user assignments directly into your active Cursor code file. Ask your Cursor agent to write a Jamf Pro API wrapper, and it uses the live mobile schema to map fields correctly. You can verify the exact structure of your iOS inventory using `list_mobile_devices` right inside Cursor. This stops you from writing Cursor code against outdated Jamf Pro API documentation.
Map Jamf Pro metadata inside Cursor
The `list_departments` tool queries your organizational structure so your Cursor agent can write custom sorting logic. Cursor pairs this with `list_users` to build accurate directories of who owns which Jamf Pro managed Apple device. This MCP Server exposes the entire Jamf Pro management hierarchy, including buildings and categories, to your Cursor workspace. You can build internal deployment scripts without leaving your Cursor code editor to check Jamf Pro API endpoints.
