How to Use the Joomag MCP in Cline
Have Cline build a dashboard with your Joomag publication stats, write the code, and stage the commit for you.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Joomag MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Joomag to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Live Joomag Dashboards
Tell Cline, 'Build a React component to show the view counts for our top 5 publications'. Cline gets to work immediately. It uses the `list_publications` and `list_analytics` tools to fetch the data from Joomag. Then, it writes the actual component code, imports the data, handles the state, and even creates a test file. You just review the diff and commit. It's not just fetching data; it's building with it.
Write Scripts to Sync Joomag Data
You need to export your Joomag contacts to another system. Instead of doing it manually, ask Cline: 'Write a Node.js script that pulls all contacts using the Joomag MCP Server and saves them to a CSV'. Cline will use the `list_contacts` tool, write the script with proper error handling, and save the file right in your workspace. You get a ready-to-run script for your data pipeline.
Generate Reports with Cline
Stop copy-pasting data into reports. Tell Cline, 'Generate a markdown report of all Q3 issues for the 'Engineering Weekly' publication, including their creation dates'. Cline will find the publication, use `list_issues` to get the data, and then format it into a clean `report.md` file in your project. This makes status updates and documentation much faster.
