Generate live payroll reports in VS Code
The `list_pay_runs` tool fetches raw payroll records so Cline can write custom reporting scripts. You tell the agent to build a monthly spend chart, and it grabs the data, writes the Python code, and generates the file. If you need to drill down, the agent calls `list_pay_run_earnings` to break down wages by department. It writes the code to parse the JSON and outputs a formatted CSV directly in your workspace.
Build employee directories using the Cline MCP Server
This MCP Server lets you pull raw staff data using `list_employees` to seed your internal applications. Cline takes this raw list and drafts the frontend components to display your team directory. The agent uses `get_employee_details` to populate individual profile views. It writes the React code, hooks up the live API endpoints, and runs tests to ensure the data renders correctly.
Automate leave and slip audits
The `list_leave_requests` tool gives Cline direct access to outstanding time-off logs. The agent writes automated test suites to verify these requests against your main database. It matches those records with payslips using `list_pay_slips` to confirm that paid leave was processed correctly. You get a fully functional testing script and a clean diff showing the verified data.
