Cline Writes Storefront Code
The Kibo Commerce MCP Server connects Cline directly to your live product database. It fires `list_products` and `list_categories` to understand your exact merchandising structure before writing a single line of code. You just tell Cline to build a product display page. It hits `get_product_details` to grab the real image URLs and pricing tiers, then generates the UI components with accurate mock data already injected.
Map Inventory Locations
Exposing `list_locations` and `get_location_details` lets your agent see exactly how your physical stores are configured. Cline uses this to write accurate shipping calculation scripts. It relies on hard data for stock levels. By calling `get_inventory_status`, Cline verifies that its new cart validation logic actually blocks users from buying items that are currently out of stock.
Inspect Transactions in VS Code
Your agent pulls real transaction records using `list_orders` and `get_order_details`. If a customer reports a checkout error, Cline pulls that specific order payload to see where the data structure broke. It ties everything back to the user. Running `list_customers` alongside `get_site_settings` allows Cline to replicate the exact environment variables and account states that caused the bug.
