Generate tracking code with live Kissmetrics schema in Cursor
This Kissmetrics MCP Server lets `list_event_types` pull your actual event schema directly into the editor's context window. Your Cursor agent reads this list so it writes Kissmetrics tracking code using real, existing events instead of guessing the naming conventions. The editor also runs `list_property_names` to fetch your indexed property keys. Typos are prevented because your agent knows exactly which properties your analytics setup expects.
Verify user traits and record events during development
`record_event` fires actual test events directly from your development environment. You can ask your Cursor agent to run this tool to confirm your tracking logic works before you commit the code. Use `set_person_properties` to populate test user profiles with custom attributes during debugging. The agent executes this command to verify that your user database updates correctly without leaving your workspace.
Query production metrics directly from your code files
`query_metric_data` retrieves real-time performance numbers inside your workspace. If you are writing a feature and need to check how the current cohort is performing, your Cursor agent pulls the live metrics directly. Run `query_people_count` to get the exact volume of users who completed a specific funnel step. Your agent reads this database count to help you write data-informed code based on current user numbers.
